Wasn't sure if I would be ok with the white stripes since I had dark purple ones before but they're nice and not terribly stand-outish.
The cons to this model of shoes are:
1. the fabric tends to pick up marks.
2. the insoles are rather flat and not terribly cushioned but I always use arch support inserts anyways.
3. my previous pair started to come apart in the toe stitching after less than a year.

Usually I buy the Asics Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81's, but I have always liked the look of the Mexico 66's...just not the price. These were about $30 less than what they usually go for, AND THEY ARE TWEED, so I had to try them. They fit great, just like my Ultimate 81's. Need insoles so they can be worn all day at work. Will definitely buy more.
