Nice boots, October 12, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Blondo Women's Liv Knee-High Boot (Apparel) First of all, shipping was so fast. I ordered in the wee hours Sat a.m. and they arrived on Tue. These are nice boots, of seemingly quality leather and construction. Style-wise, a less roundish toe would be a little cuter. I do like the heel height though. They are warmly lined in wool plaid, have elastic gussets to allow for larger calves, and full side zip to get on and off easily. I think they run a little small, perhaps due to the wool lining. In my bare feet, they felt snug against my heels with very little extra room at the toe. I would suggest a half size to full size larger if you plan to wear socks. They fit fairly snug around my calves but they are very loose between the ankle and the lower calf muscle. Not sure that I like this wide, baggy profile. This was the last pair in size 6.5M, but I wish now there had been a size 7M. Since they are weather-proofed, I'm looking forward to wearing these this winter.

They are beautiful and comfortable, and 100% waterproof. They look like they will be safe, too. The shaft is pretty wide.

They did not have the black I wanted after really liking the brown ones. Amazon.com had exactly what I wanted. Best boots for icy winters with grip on bottom. A little pricy but cheaper than a broken ankle!!
